Interactive Resources is a risk and insurance consultancy company incorporated in terms of the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The company is 100% black female owned and managed.We operate in the whole of South Africa and Botswana with offices in Johannesburg, Mafikeng and Gaborone. We work with a network of insurance professionals and trainers across the insurance industry.

Our philosophy is aligning to the three pillars that hold insurance industry together:

Needs to provide products and services that are suited for the needs of clients and address existing gaps regarding their risk.

Client facing people responsible for advising and guiding client. They must be technically capable and professionally trained to do so.

OUR TEAM

LYDIA MPHAHLANE

Lydia is an experienced insurance professional with over 30 years of working experience in the risk and insurance environment. She has dedicated her life to contributing meaningfully towards holistic sustainability of insurance. She is actively involved at Board committee level of the IISA.

MAIGHT MAPIYE

I am a qualified insurance practitioner and duly accredited by the Insurance Institute of South Africa as a Fellow. My career in insurance started over twenty-five (25) years ago. I have worked for a number of long term and short-term insurance companies including Zim Lion Insurance and Etana insurance which later became part of Hollard. I am also a qualified training specialist with Diploma in Occupationally Directed Education and Training Development Practices with Institute of People Development (OD ETDP) NQF Level 5. I am duly accredited by ETDP and Inseta as a facilitator, assessor and moderator. I am currently working at Interactive Resources as head of Learnerships, among other training responsibilities.

Interactive Resources participates in the professional standards committee of the institute.
We provide training material for purposes of professional development. Our training material is endorsed and accredited by the institute. It also bears CPD hours.
We have implemented some training programs on behalf of the institute

We work with SEDA to deliver risk and insurance training workshops to help their clients to understand risks that are prevalent in their businesses and how they could mitigate them.
This training, sponsored by SAIA, enables SMMEs to make informed insurance decisions and promotes resilience in business.

Mandated by its 57 members, SAIA has chosen Interactive Resources as their partner in insurance consumer education for SMMEs.
Our programmes are aimed at empowering users of insurance with the necessary knowledge and understanding of their own risk exposures and how they can use insurance to mitigate them.
To achieve this, we continuously develop partnerships with industry bodies and insurance companies to provide resources aimed at insurance consumer education.

Development Of Insurance Training Content

As insurance professionals, we understand gaps that exist in the insurance value chain and what consumers need to be able to view insurance as a viable risk transfer mechanism.
This, combined with our extensive experience in insurance, positions us as the best in addressing the needs of the insurance consumer directly.

We also develop content for use in training and professional development of individuals who work in the insurance industry as well as those who aspire to.Our training content is recognised and endorsed by the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) and South African Insurance Association (SAIA).

Insurance consumer education programmes

Our programmes are aimed at empowering users of insurance with the necessary knowledge and understanding of their own risk exposures and how they can use insurance to mitigate them.

To achieve this, we continuously develop partnerships with industry bodies and insurance companies to provide resources aimed at insurance consumer education.

Insurance training and skills development

Interactive Resources is an Inseta accredited service provider and we offer:

A wide range of insurance qualifications and skills programmes through Learnerships including:
- Short-Term Insurance NQF Level 4
- Further Education and Training Certificate :Long- Term Insurance, NQF Level 4
- National Certificate : Wealth Management, NQF Level 5
We also provide IISA approved insurance workshops which bear CPD Hours. These include:
- Short-Term insurance Induction training for the newly employed.
- Buildings Combined Insurance
- Insurance of transportation ( Motor, GIT, Motor Traders)
- Insurance of Liability
